Two more states have obtained authorization/approval for state vanity license plates: Texas and West Virginia. In addition to the two listed, members in the following states are proudly driving down the road with their Airborne vanity plates: North Carolina, Maryland, Connecticut and Florida. Members in these states are encouraged to visit their local division of motor vehicles and show their Airborne spirit by requesting these plates. National Headquarters encourages the chapters in those states without Airborne plates to petition their state govenments for approval. This is the year to make it happen as politicians are not likely to say "no" to a request from a veteran/fraternal organization in an election year.
